The Story

Come and join us for the inaugural Desert Divas and Dudes Walk for PH! Pulmonary hypertension is a rare disease of the heart and lungs. It can occur in people of all ages, including newborns. Many treatments cost more than $100,000 each year. We are raising funds for research for both new treatments of the disease and eventually, a cure. We'll have fun for the whole family -- small carnival-style games available for children, face painting, a mariachi band, as well as food and drinks for all paid registrants. We'll also have a raffle. Tickets are available at $1.00 each or six for $5.00. We will be auctioning off some higher priced items... we have a two night stay at Ventana Canyon, and a two night stay at Westward Look Resort. We have a beautiful Pearl and gold necklace, a Santa Teresa Bench hand made by one of our members, plus lots of donated prizes from the community. Come join us!! Registration Adults 19 and over: $25.00. Youth ages 12-18 - $15.00. Youth ages 11 and under - free. Don't forget to include your tee-shirt size when registering! Please come join us for a fun day of walking, and spending great family time together! Hope we see you there! Location Reid Park 900 South Country Club Road Ramada #10 Tucson, AZ 85716 The Pulmonary Hypertension Association is a 501 c-3 organization. All donations are tax deductable. We do accept donations from those that are out of the area and won't be able to join us.
