THE STORY:

Military family here needing help getting myself, a military veteran who has deployed to Afghanistan twice, get through an accelerated nursing program. I am using my GI Bill benefits but that barely covers the books, uniforms, and application fees that are part of this program. My husband is still active duty and we have 5 kids between us on his one pay check. He makes too much for us to get any kind of assistance to help and I can't work during the program because that is an agreement that you make to be in the 2-year BSN degree program. I am in the National Guard now and have continued to be a medic from day one. Helping people is my passion and I want to end up being, at least, a nurse practitioner so I can help my brothers and sisters get the help they need. My goal is the total tuition and not expecting that to be covered, but this is the goal that I have to go to school. The program starts May 2017 so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have struggled to even ask for help so this is how for me to even post. Thanks for reading this because even that is something to me.
