BENEFITING: STEPHEN TULLOCH FOUNDATION
The Stephen Tulloch Foundation is building an elementary school in Negril, Jamaica!
Together, we will build a new elementary school in the hometown of Stephen’s mother and family. We will build the school throughout the four-day build and on the last day, we will celebrate with the students giving them the first look at their new school!
Stephen’s mother was born in Little London, Jamaica and some of her family still lives in their hometown. Growing up, Stephen always has had a close tie to his family in Jamaica, visiting often and hearing the stories of the lack of resources and educational opportunities for the children there.
Once Stephen was drafted to the NFL, he decided he wanted to make a difference in the lives of those around him and that have influenced him throughout his life. After giving back to 55 schools in Detroit while playing for the Lions, providing the students with books, needed technology and other supplies, Stephen has decided it’s time to head back to where his family still resides to make a big difference for the children today, and in the future.
By building this school, we will be able to not only positively effect the current students, but help provide a safe and effective learning environment for years to come for the children of Little London.
The new school will include running water that will allow the students to have a kitchen and indoor bathrooms, which they do not currently have at their school. The school will have 7 classrooms total with desks and learning supplies.
Please join myself and my team by donating and helping us make a difference not just in communities throughout the US, but across the world.
