As some of you might know, I have been involved as a member and board member of The Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges for 14 years as a member and 5 years as a board member. I am very fortunate to call The Center my "Home away from home".
The Center (for short) has benefited me in numerous ways. This include increased physical mobility and independence, the ability to meet, inspire and befriend fellow members with similiar disabilities, as well as being a source of hope that have allowed me to become a successful college graduate, advocate for different causes and gainfully employed at a nationally known energy company. .
All of these things would not have been possible if it was not for The Center.
In conclusion, I would like for you to know that it is the journey we are on that is the most rewarding. I hope that you will join us in our "Summer Lovin" for The Center fundraiser.
