BENEFITING: Stephen Siller Tunnel To Towers Foundation
EVENT: New York City 2016
EVENT DATE: Sep 25, 2016
On Sunday 9/25, Team Ogilvy and friends will participate in a 5K run/walk to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation and honor those who lost lives on 9/11/01.
The 5K route follows firefighter Stephen Siller's last footsteps on the morning of 9/11. Upon hearing of the attack, Stephen tried to drive through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to reach Lower Manhattan, but it had already been closed. Rather than simply returning home, he strapped 60 pounds of gear to his back and raced from the Tunnel to the Towers, where he gave up his life to save others.
Your donation to the Ogilvy team fundraising page will benefit the various programs of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, including its Building for America's Bravest program, which builds specially-designed smart homes for members of the military who have lost limbs in the service of our country.
Thank you in advance for your support.
