Twins coming very soon, and hit a string of bad luck.
Organized by: Michael Wyatt
My wife and I are not the type to typically ask for help. This year has been one for the records. Both good and bad. It all started when I lost my job and we had to move in with a friend. My wife's income could not cover all our bills and left us with little choice. I was able to get another job, and things were starting to look up. Which was perfect timing considering we had just found out we were pregnant. Bills were beginning to get back on track, and we could see the light at the end of the tunnel. Then I lost that job. This was very devastating to both myself and my wife as there was no good reason for my termination. I've been fighting with the union ever since. I was able to find some temp jobs while my search for something permanent came along. We moved into my mother in law's house for a short period to try to save even more money. This was necessary as at our very first ultrasound we learned we were going to have twins. Expecting one baby was enough, now we were terrified on what we would do. I was able to find what I thought was going to be a stable job that I could be hired into full time, so we moved into an apartment we could afford. Shortly after getting moved in, my job fell through again. This caused a lot of problems. My wife and I were now on the verge of a divorce. We battled through it, but I was still struggling to find work. Meanwhile my wife could not pay for everything, and bills fell behind. Mainly, my car. The car payment is $350 a month and we were already behind because of everything that had been going on. I'm now working 3 jobs to make ends meet. My wife was just put on bed rest and can no longer work. Last night my car was repossessed. We don't know what we are going to do as I need to be able to work, and once the kids are here she will need her vehicle to transport then to appointments, and eventually go back to work. We can get my car back, but it's not going to be easy. I have to pay $700 by November 2nd. Meanwhile the car is sitting in a lot that charges by the day. Which I will also have to pay in order to get my vehicle back. All in all I will need to come up with approximately $1800 by November 2nd to be caught up on the car payment and to get it out of repo. If I don't get it back by then, we lose the car forever. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. With two babies due any time now, having the ability to get my car back and not have to cut back on hours at work would be very beneficial. We would be forever grateful to all that help us as it would also eliminate a pricey legal battle over the repossession in the future. Please look inside yourself and if you are able to help please do. This is a last resort for us. We have nowhere else to turn. Thank you, and God bless!
