Twist the throttle this spring and help improve access to healthcare for over 21 million people! Kick-start the motorcycle riding season by supporting the work of Riders for Health.
People living in communities across the developing world are unable to access the basic but vital services that the developed world takes for granted. Consequently, they continue to die from easily treatable/preventable diseases. Riders solution is an appropriate, cost-effective transportation system enabling poor communities to be reached predictably and reliably. Riders are using reliable, well-maintained transport to make sure that health workers have the vehicles they need to reach everyone who needs health care, no matter where they live.
A health worker with a reliable motorcycle can see up to six times as many people, and can spend twice as long with the communities they care for.
Riders work resonates with and is supported by motorcyclists from around the world. Come be a part of this fundraising event in the U.S. during April 2016 as we embark on a motorcycle ride across ten states—over 3,000 miles in 12 days.
Here is what some icons of the motorcycling world are saying:
“I’ve fundraised for Riders in the past, and knowing that I was helping those in need while enjoying the heck out of an endurance race really made the event special. This cross-country ride provides you with the same opportunity to have a fantastic adventure while also making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
If you can donate to the cause, please do, but you can also show your support and help raise awareness for this awesome organization by participating in this ride. You’ll get to cruise some of the best roads and visit some of the best destinations in the country (the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Barber Museum are not to be missed!) as well as spend time with like-minded people.”
We will be hosting meet-ups at legendary motorsports venues such as Barber Motorsports Museum, Circuit of The Americas (during the MotoGP race this season), and Pikes Peak, to name a few. You can donate to support the health workers of Riders and come hang out with your favorite moto-peeps at an event near you. You can also ride with us for a part of the trip or the entire trip as we journey through these epic roads in the U.S.
