After two+ years of growing out my hair to unthinkable lengths, the time has come. Haircut.
So where do you come in? I figured that since so many people have been begging and pleading with me to cut my hair for the past two years (I'm looking at you, Mom) I might as well make some good out of it. The cut hair will already be used to help create a wig for cancer patients (like Locks for Love), but I thought I'd ask friends and family to donate to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston to make the maximum impact.
So, if you have $5 to spare and have been thinking about how you really need to donate to a charity to make you feel like a good person but haven't done it in a while (or if you're really just a good person and want to help support cancer research), I hope you'll consider donating a few bucks and get some mild amusement over the fact that I'm making this such a big deal. I can't wait to rediscover what I look like with short hair, and I thank all of you for your support! Go team!
