TWO DOG FARMS INC wrote -Please help support our on-going need for medical funds so we can help some of the neediest Jindos who might otherwise be overlooked by potential adopters and rescuers.
We've recently taken several dogs into our rescue that have required medical assistance, aside from the standard neuter/spay procedures.
These include Sadie, Becho and Maya - all released from their respective shelters in Los Angeles with Kennel Cough. Sadie's and Becho's was diagnosed as Bronchial Pneumonia which as required extensive testing and treatment running into several $100s for each dog.
We also rescued two Jindos from New Mexico where they had been kept chained in a parking lot behind a restaurant: Harry and Whitey (now known as Finch).
Harry has severe hair loss, so he's had detailed blood work done already to help give baseline results which we'll use to plan further tests as we work to regrow his hair.
Whitey has been diagnosed as anemic which has meant that recovery from standard neutering has meant he's suffered blood loss and clotting difficulties. Vets are now recommending that he has surgery to help assist his long-term recovery, and this alone could be $1,500.00.
