BENEFITING: Domestic Violence Crisis Center
Our mission is to help abused women heal through unconditional love and support.
Did you know that....
- Nearly half of all women in the United States have experienced at least one form of psychological aggression by an intimate partner.
- On average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends every day.
- One out of three women around the world has been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused during her lifetime.
Intimate partner violence occurs across age, ethnic, gender, and economic lines, among persons with disabilities and among both heterosexual and same-sex couples.
By donating to Two Hearts you are choosing to help start a non-profit for domestic violence, to build domestic violence awareness, to improve education and prevention, to fund training and to take action against violence towards women.
Dr. Linda is a psychologist, domestic abuse survivor and
victim advocate, who found that women often stay in abusive relationships out of fear and feel alone and unsupported. After losing two sisters to trauma and dating violence she dedicated her professional work to help break the cycle of generational domestic violence and abuse.
Kate is a continuing champion for women's causes and other social action issues. She believes that women need unconditional love and support in their
lives in order to be great wives, great mothers, great daughters, great sisters, and great women.
One way to donate is through the purchase of the Two Hearts Unconditional Love pendant that you can choose to give to a survivor or to keep as a symbol of your support.
The unique patented design of two hearts intertwined with a heart in the middle symbolizes the unconditional love and support between two people. Our hope is that the two hearts symbol will someday serve as a reminder of the strength within each of us and of unconditional love and support.
Act today to end domestic violence. Make a donation or donate an unconditional love pendant!
