Tyler James Smith Family Fund
Organized by: Steve Smith
At 32 years old, Tyler is a wonderful husband, father of three young children, son, brother and friend. He laughs readily and loves to play with his family. His friendly demeanor is honest and he is the first to volunteer to help those in need. And boy does he love to dance.
On May 14 2014, Tyler was diagnosed with a brain tumor discovered only because he had a seizure. On May 29, he had the tumor removed. The biopsy revealed it to be a grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma tumor, which calls for radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Since the tumor was near the language center of Tyler’s brain, he is having difficulty remembering, and writing and typing out his thoughts and may be prone to more seizures.
If there is any good news in all this, it is that financially Tyler does have a high deductible insurance to cover most of the medical bills. The bad news is that Tyler will be in and out of the hospital for the foreseeable future and will not be able to work, and Tyler and his family will not be able to cover the high deductibles of his insurance, his mortgage, and the many other bills that will need to be paid.
For those that give to this cause, it is good to know that this money will go directly to supporting Tyler and his Family in this great time of need.
