On October 15, 2011 my cousin, David Vincent Price, completed suicide. As a direct result, The Life Is Priceless Foundation was created in hopes to preserve the life of another by supporting the research and treatment of depression and suicide prevention.
On May 3th, I am riding for The LIPF in memory of David's life.

Every year, one in four adults will suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder. In 2011, the CDC reported that nearly 500,000 people were treated in emergency departments for self-inflicted injuries.
ONLY 61 percent of Americans think it appropriate to tell family members about a mental illness diagnosis, according to a recent study commissioned by the New York City Metro chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Just 43 percent approve of telling friends about a diagnosis, and just 13 percent of telling co-workers.
It's time to make a difference.
