Hi, I'm Luke Gernert, an eighteen year old college student living in London. On November 17th, I'm running the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest, a 10k obstacle course through Battersea Park that will push me to the limits of my physical ability (more info here: http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/londonday.html). I have been training hard since early September, and come race day, I know I'll be on my game and up to the challenge.
I'm asking you to help me make this race meaningful by sponsoring me through a donation to Ubuntu Africa's World AIDS Day Campaign. This donation can be as small or as large as you choose - even a small amount can make a huge difference in the life of AIDS and HIV+ children in South Africa. That being said, my goal is to raise at least $500 dollars and I urge you to donate generously to this worthy cause.
See below for more information about Ubuntu and the World AIDS Day Campaign.
From their website (http://ubafrica.org/):
Ubuntu Africa is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of HIV-positive children in under-served communities by establishing community-based programs that provide lifesaving health and support services. UBA is also committed to fostering an empowered attitude towards HIV/AIDS among young people worldwide and engaging them to participate in improving conditions for people affected by global health challenges..
About the World AIDS Day Campaign, which the money you donate through this page will support -
