Our office is collecting donations of food and money for the Norwalk Emergency Shelter located in South Norwalk, Connecticut for our "Share the Love" event through the month of February!
Norwalk Emergency Shelter's mission is to effectively address the causes and complexities of the homeless and working poor by providing shelter, food, clothing, case management services, treatment services, transitional planning for short and long term goals, subsidized housing, education, employment, and a path towards independence and success.
It makes for a perfect Valentine's gift - giving gifts that can change lives and sharing the love! In these tough times, shelters are needing our donation help more than ever and all donations are tax deductible.
The shelter is in need of a wide range of items from supplies, kids/baby items, clothing, food, paper/plastic good, kitchen items and furniture.
Here's a detailed wish list: www.opendoorshelter.org/donations
We encourage you to spread the word to your employer, friends, family, local businesses - anyone that will be willing to donate to a great cause for Valentine's Day!
Donate on our webpage or drop off your donations to UBM Medica, 535 Connecticut Avenue Suite 300 Norwalk CT 06854.
