UC Hastings Halloween in the Tower
Organized by: Grace Wright
Happy Halloween (in the Tower)!
October 28, 2016
EVENT DATE Oct 28, 2016
Many children who live in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco don't have a safe place to go trick-or-treating for Halloween. Each year, UC Hastings, a law school located in the heart of this neighborhood, provides a safe, fun alternative to allow local children to participate in this special holiday pastime.
Students and faculty provide the candy, and those who live in the school's 26 floors of student housing decorate the building, pass out candy from their apartments, and host a Halloween party for dozens of local kids to dress up and celebrate Halloween. This year, we'd like to change that number from dozens to hundreds! However, as law students living on scholarships and loans, we could really use your help to raise money.
All funds raised will go towards purchasing Halloween candy, healthy food for the party, decorations, arts and crafts supplies, and party favors to make this year's event the best one yet! Thank you for supporting UC Hastings' Halloween in the Tower and have a happy Halloween!
