Help the Asian American Student Association at the University of Central Oklahoma raise funds to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
In a matter of hours on 8 November, Super Typhoon Haiyan – one of the strongest storms ever recorded – completely devastated parts of eastern Visayas in the central Philippines.
"This area has been totally ravaged", said Sebastien Sujobert, head of the ICRC office in Tacloban. "Many lives were lost, a huge number of people are missing, and basic services such as drinking water and electricity have been cut off." There was also, he said, extensive damage to other infrastructure, and communication was difficult for those working to aid the stricken population.
All donations will go to the Red Cross to aid those in the Philippines that have been affected by Super Typhoon Haiyan.
