THE STORY:

The Veterans Group Exercise (VGX) project is a pilot research study evaluating the effects of integrative, mind-body exercise on veterans with post-traumatic stress didorder, PTSD. We hope that the data collected in this pilot study will enable us to obtain a large grant to fund a much larger study, ultimately resulting in more viable non-pharmaceutical options for veterans with PTSD.

Many veterans are on dozens of medications to try to alleviate their physical and psychological injuries, and an average of 22 US veterans commit suicide every day. There is an overwhelming need for a more holistic, non-pharmaceutical component of the solution. Our veterans need our support, and they have certainly earned it. Please consider supporting this study, which you can read more about on our website.
