Springs Alive is a community school near Kampala, Uganda. The volunteer staff care for and educate 150 children from disadvantaged families in the area. The school survives on charity and support from the community which is never enough.
The school is rudimentary with no running water or electricity. The toilets are traditional open pit toilets are very old and have been condemned by the local council as unfit for use, The council is threatening to close the school until the toilets can be fixed. This has become my mission!! To fund the toilet repairs so the school can stay open!
