NYC Marathon #3....and this year, I'm very proud to be running for UJA-Federation of New York.
Federation does a lot of good work for the Jewish Community all over the world. I saw this first hand when I accompanied a group to St. Petersburg, Russia a few years ago. Both abroad and at home, they fight poverty, help Holocaust survivors, and take care of all in need.
And let's face it, 2016-2017 hasn't been the most comforting year for the Jewish Community. The people who work for Federation are on the front lines and could always use our help.
It's also their 100th anniversary this year - and they found another 99 crazy people who want to sightsee their way to 26.2 miles through all five boroughs. (Marathons are the only time I've ever been to Staten Island...)
So - If you want to help Federation with their important works - and help me reach my (first) goal of $3,000 - please click the donate button. Every bit helps.
Also - please let me know if you're going to be on the route - seeing friendly faces actually helps a lot...!
Thanks for reading this.
