Give new meaning to high-impact exercise!
Hit the ground running in the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2, 2014, with the Sports for Youth team to raise money for UJA-Federation of New York and Sports for Youth.
Together, we'll raise more than $30,000 for UJA-Federation and Sports for Youth. This is your chance to make the cut and guarantee yourself a spot!
Participate to Make a Difference - UJA runners commit to raising at least $3,000. During every mile you run, you’ll know that you’re allowing children to hit a home run, score a goal, and, most importantly, learn what it feels like to be part of a team. Since 2010, our teams have raised more than $540,000 through marathons, half marathons, bike tours, and triathlons.
UJA-Federation of New York believes in the power of community. As the largest local philanthropy in the world, we inspire New Yorkers like you to act on your values and invest in our community for the biggest impact. Your energy, passion, and commitment enables us to deal with ongoing issues of hunger, poverty, and disaster relief while making life better for 4.5 million people here in New York, in Israel, and around the globe. Together, we can do almost anything.
Sports for Youth, a UJA-Federation initiative, brings the joy of sports to children of all ages, ethnic and religious backgrounds, and athletic abilities. Grants provided by Sports for Youth directly benefit more than 12,000 children, and they help countless others at JCCs and Ys, camps, and other agencies with sports-related programs.
