Brighter Futures is Kantar’s 4-year commitment to UNICEF through the following three key projects:
In Bangladesh 13% of children aged between 5-14 are forced to work to support their families. Our Brighter Futures project aims to provide 6000 of these children with the support they need to allow them to go to school instead of work.
In Malawi, one of the world’s poorest countries, 600,000 children have lost one or both parents to AIDS. Our Brighter Futures project is supporting 80,000 orphans by helping to fund 150 community centres (called Children’s Corners) and schools.
In Bolivia 2.2 million children and adolescents are at risk from violence, crime, gang warfare and drug abuse. Our Brighter Futures project aims to project these children against exploitation by improving their legislative rights and creating special support units for victims.
