The Department of Philosophy at the University of British Columbia (UBC) is proud to join Philosophers Against Malaria, an effort by philosophers from around the world to raise funds over the next two weeks (Nov 28-Dec 12) for the Against Malaria Foundation (AMF). AMF is a charity dedicated to preventing the spread of malaria by distributing long-lasting insecticidal nets to communities in malaria endemic regions. It is rated a 'Top Charity' by independent agencies Givewell, Giving What We Can, and The Life You Can Save for its transparancy, low-overhead, and effectiveness.
