Our organization, Na Leo O Ke Kai (Voices of the Sea) is asking for help to raise funds to support our mission: to preserve and promote the culture, health and wellness of indigenous youth.
The funds we raise will help us purchase much needed equipment – an outrigger canoe, paddles and lifejackets. We are blessed in the growth of our programs, but we need to expand our ability to train and teach!
Na Leo ‘O Ke Kai promotes a diverse family of paddlers, with adult, youth and keiki programs, but don’t mistake us for just a sports club! Our mission is to revive, develop, perpetuate and promote the Hawaiian traditions through educational, recreational, cultures and competitive Hawai’ian outrigger canoeing programs in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. Almost all of our equipment has been donated or supplied by members. We cannot raise this much on our own. Please help our Ohana to grow and meet the needs of our members in culturally relevant ways. Mahalo!
