I'm running the STEEL Challenge! 5k Saturday and 1/2 Marathon Sunday!
As a runner there no better feeling then knowing you are helping kids on the North Side while getting to do something you have grown to love. I am really looking forward to this years race and hope you will help me make this run a success. Any dollar amount helps this great cause! And to show how much it means to me I will be completing challenges along the way.
$100 - I'll match the highest donor dollar for dollar. So if you donate $100 and get me over the mark, so will I!
$250 - I'll take the Sieb's Pub Irish Challenge - I will try to eat a 2 pound burger, 1 pound of fries, and a scoop and a half of coleslaw in 45 minutes!
$500 - I'll eat Buffalo Wild Wings Blazin' Wings
$750 - I will sit in a pool of ice water in December or January.
$1100 - Donors choice! Highest donor can challenge me to do anything (within reason) and I will do it.
$1500 - I will run the marathon in costume. Donors will get to choose the costume!
$2250 - I will wax my legs.
$3000 - I will BIC (shave) my beautiful head.
$4500 - I will get a tattoo. Several designs will be provided and donors can help pick the design.
I hope you enjoy these challenges as much as I will. Want to see me do these things? Donate today!

Urban Impact is a faith-based, non-profit organization that was founded by Rev. Dr. Ed Glover. He and his wife, Tammy, have been involved in urban ministry on Pittsburgh’s North Side since 1986. The organization, chartered in 1995, was created to foster Christian community development on the North Side by changing lives one person, one family, one block at a time. The organization focuses on helping at-risk kids, youth, and their families in a holistic manner; i.e. by meeting needs academically, spiritually, physically and socially. Financial support comes from charitable foundations, corporations, churches and individuals.
