BENEFITING: Urban Impact
ORGANIZER: Urban Impact
EVENT DATE: May 03, 2015
Last year I ran the Pittsburgh Half Marathon for my own personal reasons. I wanted to see what I could achieve physically through my own training after multiple years of running cross country and track for Glastonbury, CT High School and Duquesne University. This year, I want to run for something more than myself. I have dedicated myself to running for the children of Pittsburgh through the program Urban Impact. This organization is amazing and has proven to be such a blessing for the Pittsburgh area. There are many programs that Urban Impact provides that reaches children of all ages and of all talents. Urban Impact's slogan is, "Changing lives one person, one family, one block at a time." I pray that with each block that I run through training and through the race, WE can all make a change, one family, one person, one child at a time.
I appreciate any contributions you are able to make to this cause, either financially or through prayer and encouragement.
