URGENT! Please give my family and children a home!
Organized by: Tove Ödegården
"For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath." (Matthew 13:12) I am not used to ask for help, but as a mother my greatest fear is not being able to offer my children a home. We have always been poor though hard working and doing right for ourselves, and now we are about to loose our current, rented house and I have no idea where to go since no bank will offer us a loan, and we will never be able to save the neccessary amount of money. None of our families are able to help us, or thinks that one should be able to take care of oneself. When our twins was born we were 5 people living in a 20 square meter cabin, hardly affording diapers. Life since has been an endless hunt for a worthy home for my children. To never have to leave again. Yesterday I spoke to my eldest son about helping a fly to get out instead of killing it. I told him about Jesus and his words: "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for Me.' (Matthew 25:45) Then my son answered: "Mom, I don't believe in that." And desperate as I am, I end my story here with those words. I will keep each one helping us in my heart for ever. Anyone who helps us will always be welcomed to us here in Sweden as a dear friend.
