urgently needed repairs on my house ordered by the city
Organized by: Marylyn Kruger
I am a widow, age 68, on social security. I have lived in my beloved home since I was 12 in 1959. My father loved it the first time he saw it. When I got married I moved in downstairs (a duplex) and my parents lived upstairs. They are gone now, as well as my husband. I love this home so much and want to live here the rest of my life. The city inspector came around and sent me a letter listing over 20 items that need to be repaired, or I will get fined. I need help with money for a new roof, a repair to my driveway, and all the wood trim on the outside of the house needs to be redone, as well as new windows. I really am desperate, as I don't know what to do. Can someone help me with these expenses?
