Hello Family and Friends,
Like many other Americans, I have been watching the absolute devastation happen in Aleppo feeling utterly helpless. I would continue to rack my brain to find a way I can help create a solution. All of a sudden, a light bulb went on...
This year, I have decided to donate my birthday to contribute to the relief of millions of pulverized lives in Syria.
The brutal, five-year old Syrian conflict has affected 80% of Syria’s children — 8.4 million young lives shattered by violence, death, fear and displacement. In response, UNICEF has helped mobilize the largest relief operation in history — providing safe water, nutrition supplements, polio vaccinations, temporary schools and more. But these children’s needs are outgrowing our resources.
Help me celebrate my birthday by donating now to help protect Syrian children from civil war and its tragic consequences.
Sending love, Christine
