USC DTD: TallaDelta Nights, benefitting Cancer for College
Organized by: Parker Saussy
EVENT DATE Mar 26, 2016
We, the brothers of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at the University of Southern California, are putting on our 2nd annual TallaDelta Nights philanthropy event for members of the USC Greek community, with all proceeds and donations benefitting Cancer for College.
Cancer for College is not only one of the most prolific charitable organizations for helping Cancer victims achieve their goals of attaining education - it is also an organization that, by the nature of its founding, is very near and dear to USC Delta Tau Delta's heart: Cancer for College founder Craig Pollard, as well as spokesman Will Ferrell, were both members of Delta Tau Delta at USC, and it was through the fraternity that the two met and became friends. Craig's son, Josh, is currently an active in the fraternity.
Cancer has, in some way, affected all of our lives, whether through our own experience or through that of a loved one, and the community surrounding the USC Delts has seen its fair share of this. For this reason, we are looking for donations from friends, family, and alumni, all to help us reach our $1000 donation goal, so that we may help Cancer for College and continue to help victims of cancer achieve their goal of attaining an education.
