Rivals United for a Kure - USC 2012
EVENT DATE: Nov 17, 2012
DEADLINE TO GIVE: Dec 31, 2012
From now until the Trojans and Bruins meet each other on the football field this November, we are reaching out to the Trojan community to raise funds and awareness for innovative research into underfunded cancers. Don’t worry. The Bruins have their own fundraiser. Yes. It is competitive. And yes, we know about the intense rivalry between these two schools that are located less than 12 miles apart.
The Rivals United for a Kure campaign brings both sides together to unite on something we can all get behind: the fight against cancer. All of the money raised for Kure It Cancer Research will be granted to research projects at USC’s Norris Cancer Center and UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center. Our goal is to raise $1 million for each school, so we need you to rally your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues in support of the effort.
How can you help? Thanks for asking! We have a couple of ways.
Good: Click the button below to make a donation.
Better: Create your own fundraising campaign in support of the Rivals United for a Kure Trojans team. Get your friends and family to donate to your campaign. Need help getting set up? Click HELP! for step-by-step instructions
Even Better: Make your campaign in honor, or in memory, of someone you know who has battled cancer. Click HERE for a great example.
Best: Create your own team to raise money. Maybe have a friendly competition with another department in your office. Accounting vs. Sales, for example. Not that accounting and sales would ever be considered rivals.

As if giving back isn’t enough satisfaction in itself, you’ll be eligible for some fabulous (in our opinion) prizes, and so will your supporters. What kind of prizes? Good ones. Special Trojan prizes. Stuff you can’t get anywhere else. Trust us, you’re gonna’ love the prizes.
Just imagine the impact the entire community can have when harnessed to give back in a fun and compelling way!
