BENEFITING: US FDN FOR THE CHILDREN OF HAITI
EVENT: San Francisco Marathon 2014
EVENT DATE: Jul 27, 2014
We're raising money to help support disabled children at the Hope Home for children with disabilities located at the Children's Village in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
Today, director Dora Nemere, works with agencies, volunteers, medical specialists, and schools to enrich the lives of the disabled children. She has worked tirelessly to provide additional funding to support specialized services to come to the Village and work with the children. Thank you in advance for helping to support the children lead a more enriched life! And blessings for your generosity.
About the Foundation:
United States Foundation for the Children of Haiti (USFCH) is a volunteer organization based in the United States which serves the Fondation Pour Les Enfants D'Haiti (FEH) under the leadership of Gladys Thomas. The FEH has worked since 1981 serving the children of Haiti through education, health and residence. The FEH has grown from one small orphanage to an organization that today operates two orphanages, a home for children with disabilities, three schools and a 50 bed general hospital. Today FEH has over 500 children attending our schools. The partnership between the Haitian staff of the FEH and the USFCH has created a means to touch the lives of the children of Haiti.
