BENEFITING: UTAH FOOD ALLERGY NETWORK INC
UFAN hopes to raise $50,000 to help fund local research at the University of Utah and Primary Children's Hospital and to establish a scholarship program.
Funds raised will also be used to help UFAN continue to offer the annual Utah Food Allergy Conference, free or low-cost community events such as a food-free Easter egg hunt, a kid’s summer day-camp, and a food-free trunk-or-treat. UFAN also provides free online forums for members to share support, recipes, and tips for handling social situations.
It is the mission of the Utah Food Allergy Network (UFAN) to provide outreach to the newly diagnosed and the community at large, to offer support, promote education, build awareness of the severity of food allergies, anaphylaxis, and eosinophilic disorders, and to advocate for positive change.
