The Unitarian Universalists for a Just Economic Community (UUJEC) is dedicated to activating UU's and all who stand on the side of LOVE to understand economic injustice and what we can do to reverse the slide into plutocracy and return to a shared prosperity.
We do this through outreach and education of our members and the wider world, currently advocating study/action on the issue of inequality.
Now we plan to create a new Economically Just Congregations (EJC) Program that would begin with an EJC curriculum for adults. We want to hire a writer to create that curriculum, which we think will take a little more than 2 months to do. We want to create a job for a writer - and will advertise at Writers Centers, the National Writers Union and in the end have a great tool for congregations and other groups to look in depth at the many facets of economic justice.
