Here is a littIe about myself. am a single mother, raising a son of thirteen years old by myself. I posses three college degrees, (Bachelor of Science in Business Communications from Rochester College 2006, Associate of Applied Science in Travel/Tourism Management from Baker College 1997, and a Associate Degree in General Studies from Mott Community College 2005. I was a Columnist for the CPSA (Concerned Pastors Social Action) COURIER Christian Newspaper which is the largest running paper in the County which I had the opportunity to write inspirational messages in weekly in my home town of Flint, Michigan for two and a half years, 2005-2007. I was also featured in our local newspaper, The Flint Journal in the "Religious Section" of an interview with one of the Writers/Reporters 2007. I have been on live broadcast of ICBS Radio which aired 2012, over 26 years of customer service experience, I volunteered with AmeriCorps National Service in my community 2002-2003, have worked many jobs in my community, several awards (Star Performer Award) from Old Country Buffet Restaurants, where I worked for several years and had good rapport with customers and my employers 1999-2010. I have volunteered with a lot of ministeries and worked with them and for them, cleaning, working in the nursery, etc. I have started and participated and led community events/barbeques, worked with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Flint getting youth signed up with the mentoring program, also with Boy Scouts of America, I worked for The March of Dimes in fundraising years ago. I believe what the Bible says about taking care of the widows and the orphans according to James 1:27 (The Holy Bible). Children of this nation need a good education and transportation as to get there. No child shall be left behind.
There is an orphanage that I would like to give into. They are poorer than us. They need a school bus ($7400) for 61 children to get them back and forth to school everyday, money for tuition ($410 for each student for books and tuition for 61 children) totaling $25,010) ($410 multiplied by 61 children), gas money to get back and forth with the children, and a building for them to have school (totaling $20,000) all in which I came up to $52,410, not really knowing anything about gas prices there.
