BENEFITING: VanderCook College of Music
ORGANIZER: VanderCook College of Music
EVENT: 2015 Shamrock Shuffle 8K
EVENT DATE: Mar 29, 2015
My name is Corey Ames and I am an alum of VanderCook College of Music (07). I currently teach at Loyola Academy in Wilmette, IL.
I met my wife Megan at VanderCook and we live with our incredible daughter Brennan in Grayslake. When my daughter was born we bought a jogging stroller and that's when I started to get the bug. Megan encouraged me to sign up for my first race on a 4th of July and I've worked my way up to my first marathon this past fall. Megan was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2008 and this past fall I ran for the National MS Society and raised close to $3,000 for the marathon,
Without VanderCook I would never have the life I have so I want to give back in the best way I know how and ask that you donate on behalf of this wonderful institution to keep passionate music teachers in our lives.
