BENEFITING: BELLEFAIRE JEWISH CHILDRENS BUREAU
Monarch School for Children with Autism is raising funds to purchase a van that will enable more of our students to engage in community-based experiences.
Every day more than 55 Monarch School students (37% of our student body) travel into the community for vocational, instructional, life skills, and recreational opportunities. These community outings are INCREDIBLY important to our students. They promote enhanced communication, socialization, real-world encounters, and preparation for transitioning to adulthood.
As our student body grows, so too does our need for more vans. By purchasing a new van, Monarch School could transport more students into the community on a daily basis. Our goal is to raise $30,000 (100% of which will fund a new vehicle). All contributions, regardless of amount, are extremely appreciated, and all are tax deductible. Donations can be made online at http://www.monarchcenterforautism.org/about-us/support-monarch or by sending a check made payable to Monarch School to: ATTN.
