BENEFITING: Paradox Sports
EVENT DATE: Sep 02, 2014
Pushing the limits for me is to show what, we as, humans are truly capable of, no matter how different each of us are; disability or not. It is to show that the possibilities are endless once you set your mind to it. So please help in spreading the word about this and donate, as well as the over all message of disability awareness.
To help spread this, I will be embarking on an adventure to climb the infamous Grand Teton in Moose, WY alongside Paradox Sports and the Exum Guides this September. This will be the first ascent of the Grand Teton by an adaptive athlete on crutches, as far as I know and researched. I have never experienced something like this before, so it will be amazing to see how my body will adaptive to a mountaineering adventure. I will be summitting with a handful of out other disabled athletes one of them who is visually impaired. I have the utmost respect for those with a hurdle like that.
Anyways, the goal of this crowd funding is to raise $400, which all goes to Paradox Sports for their help in organizing yet another amazing event. Paradox Sports, if you do not know much about their goals, is an organization to help athletes with disabilities and veterans to enjoy the outdoors on crazy adventures such as this one. I'm very grateful to have been connected with this amazing organization and I hope you are willing to help out!
'Till next time and remember to keep your tip(s) up!
