BENEFITING: PATRONS OF THE ARTS IN THE VATICAN MUSEUMS
Volunteers support the office staff by attending events, writing articles, creating powerpoint presentations and meeting our donors and participating in a variety of events specially designed for Patrons…all with the backdrop of the marvellous galleries and artwork housed in the Vatican Museums.
We want to spread the word. Most people don't know that funds from ticket sales go towards security, insurance and basic maintnece of the museums leaving restoration efforts above and beyond. That's where the Patrons of the Arts come in. Help us spread the word. Donate--any amount will help. Together we can ensure that these works of art will be around for generations.
Check out the quotes below from some of our wonderful interns:
"Each day I walk down the beautifully decorated corridors passing breathtaking pieces of art in the Vatican and I think of the former popes that have cared for these works. It makes my duties in the Vatican all the more personal because I know that the Patrons Office is working to preserve these priceless masterpieces. I was also able to see the restoration labs where the restored paintings looked so amazingly rejuvenated. I hope someday soon I am fortunate enough to come back as a donor and visit this incredible city with my chapter."

My time at the Patron’s office was an unforgettable experience. In the future, I hope to use the skills I learned at the Vatican to continue to help fundraise for the Patrons back home in Los Angeles. I am very grateful to everyone in the office for being so kind and helpful while also being so generous with their time.
