Venezuela is experiencing a humanitarian crisis that is affecting a very large part of the population throughout the country. We are a non-profit organization that started a year ago that collects inputs and funds in order to be able to alleviate this problem as much as possible. To meet the growing demand, CPUV depends on international donations. The funds we collect are used to buy formula, nutritional supplements and ingredients to prepare the children's food and also As well, to pay for shipping costs to Venezuela. With your help we can do much more. We currently serve 35 hospitals nationwide, which receive formula and nutritional supplements for children. We also serve 6 homes, which receive food for their children and we recently started our "School Lunch" program that takes a daily meal to children in very poor areas. This program currently serves 233 children on a permanent basis at the María May school in El Calvario neighborhood in El Hatillo and many others. In the state of Miranda there are 100,000 children who also are in need of the support of this program, 10 more schools in EL Hatillo town and the city of Valencia, however, the quantities of food that are required are very large and without the donations is very difficult to achieve.
