Welcome and Thank You

For most, summer is synonymous with fun. Yet for every 1 in 5 children, in Western Washington, it means not having enough to eat day-to-day. While they may have access to free and reduced-priced meals during the school year, children from low-income homes experience summer as the hungriest season of the year.
But we can make a difference! Here’s what we can do to fight summer hunger: Donate! Every $1 donation equals 4 meals. Pretty awesome, huh?
Where’s the money and food going? To Food Lifeline, a 50I(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization registered with the Washington State Charities Program that works on creative solutions to stopping hunger, and provides 91,000 meals a day to local food assistance programs. All donations made are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
