Did you know that approximately 20% of all homeless people in the Atlanta, Ga. area are homeless veterans? Did you know that everyday 26 veterans commit suicide in the United States? It is time to make a difference in lives. It is time to take action and reach out to as many people as we can.
The focus of Veterans Homelessness Alleviation (VHA) is to provide basic essentials and assistance to any and every homeless individual in the Metro-Atlanta area.
VHA WILL reach out and WILL make a difference. VHA will provide for all homeless individuals in the Metro-Atlanta area and will concentrate efforts on veterans when the opportunity presents itself. The immediate goal is to reach out by traveling to areas in Metro-Atlanta where dense populations of homeless are present in small teams. How can you help and make a difference? Risks and Challenges
The main obstacle is being able to find people who will actively support this operation. It is important for this organization to find individuals who are dedicated to the cause and who will be dependable. Difficulties will arise. VHA remains dedicated to its goals, regardless of obstacles that may appear. Through dedication, your support, and decisive decision-making, we can make a difference!
