BENEFITING: UNICEF USA
In lieu of gifts or a party, please help me celebrate my 27th birthday by donating to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF's General Fund. Thank you.
Contributions to the General Fund at the U.S. Fund for UNICEF are unrestricted donations and are used for rapid and effective intervention when and where children need it the most. Unrestricted funds are crucial for response to emergencies- such as Ebola or the Nepal Earthquake- and can help save and improve the maximum number of children's lives when time is a key element. So this year if you were thinking about getting me a gift, taking me for a drink, etc I instead encourage you to give the gift of life by putting "Children First."
*A reminder that all donations to the U.S. Fund support the work of UNICEF, are tax deductible, and 90 cents on every dollar goes into the field. UNICEF has helped save more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization. Their lifesaving interventions and programs around the world have helped reduce the number of child deaths by more than 50% since 1990, and yet 16,000 children still die every day from preventable causes.
