Vietnam Medical Mission
Organized by: Victoria Wu Tung
I have always been interested in providing medical care to under-served areas. My first medical mission was to Panama in 2011, and it was an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience to provide care to a community with no modern amenities or access to health services. I learned a great deal about how to provide medical care while overcoming cultural barriers and lack of resources. It was a lot of hard work, but I am now fortunate to have another opportunity to participate in a medical mission. This time, I will be traveling to a village in Vietnam where there is difficult access to health care services. I am asking for your help so that I can bring medical supplies to the village which include medications, wound care supplies, surgical supplies, and other items to support my goal of improving the health and well-being of those who are less fortunate than us. I am fully committed to providing the best care possible on this medical mission, and with your help, our group can make a difference for the many generations of people in the community that we will be serving.
