How do you honor those who vowed: “Never again will one generation of Veterans abandon another”? How do you express gratitude to a group of Vietnam Veterans who changed how all of America treats her Veterans? The homecoming of our wounded troops today is a vast difference from the reception our Vietnam Veterans faced when they returned home. A large part of this is because our Vietnam Veterans have taken a vow that the reception they received will not happen to the wounded troops coming home today. You don’t have to scratch t he surface very far to find a Vietnam Veteran doing what he can to take care of our wounded.

Operation Comfort believes it is time to give back to the Vietnam Veterans and show them our appreciation. We have developed a unique, exciting fundraising event: The Vietnam Veteran Honor Ride – 2014 – Ride Vietnam- a sponsored 300 mile bicycle challenge to benefit Veterans of two eras and to commemorate the fallen of the Vietnam War.

In the spring of 2014 TEAM AMERICA, a bicycle team of 30 Modern Day Wounded Veterans riding alongside Vietnam Veterans, will cycle major battlefield sites in Vietnam. At each battlefield site, the team will lay a commemorative wreath to honor those who did not return home. Joining our team will be wounded British Service Members as well as other British riders (30).

Funds raised from The Vietnam Veteran Honor Ride will be used to send a Vietnam Veteran back to Vietnam who has always wanted to return but does not have the means. Funds will also be used to sponsor a wounded Veteran of today who will be riding in honor of our Vietnam Veterans.
