BENEFITING: WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT
EVENT DATE: Jun 03, 2012
"From Q to Q-Ball"
The goal of my hair growing mission was two-fold.
Over the years, a good deal of my close friends and acquaintances, people in my life and in the lives of people I know and love, have served this great country. As a show of solidarity, I wanted to grow my hair during Corporal James "Seamus" Harkin's deployment. Upon his safe return, and ensuring it was long enough, that hair would be cut and donated to Lock's of Love.
The second goal was to raise as much money as possible for The Wounded Warrior project. This is where you come in. During the Bay Ridge 5th Avenue Festival on June 3rd, outside The Bean Post Pub, I will be making my hair donation with Corporal James "Seamus" Harkin as my barber. On that day, I will also being making a donation of all proceeds raised to The Wounded Warrior Project.
No amount too great, no amount too small. Just donate.
