BENEFITING: Direct Relief
EVENT DATE: Nov 12, 2013
In the wake of Super Typhoon Haiyan’s first devastating impact that spreaded across the Philippines early morning of Friday, 8 Nov 2013, all at Villa Medica trembled at the unpredictable blow of nature at the people of the nation. Our collective heartbeats momentarily paused in tribute to those who remain mired down by this natural disaster that robbed countless lives and livelihoods.
Making our first initiative, and headed by CEO, Bobby Kittichaiwong & GMD, Michael Loh, Villa Medica urgently appeals for your help so that we can jointly respond to the needs of the children and families most affected by this latest calamity. A little goes a long way… especially at times like this where boudaries should be broken down while we join the rest of the Filipino nation in mourning.
"The devastation is, I don't have the words for it," Interior Secretary Mar Roxas said, according to Reuters. "It's really horrific. It's a great human tragedy."
As the resounding cries of the typhoon survivors plead for help, and as the scale of devastation come forth, let us put our hands and hearts together as we work towards raising donations for the relief of the families devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.
We urge you to hear our pleas and the cries of those that are beyond devastatation… especially to the estimated 4 million children that are now be facing the realities of the disaster.
Join us in our efforts. Lend a hand, share a heart…
