Save women and children from human trafficking. Help us raise $100,000 to rescue and empower victims in the Philippines.
Rose is from an indigenous tribe. She was sold for sexual exploitation at the age of 12. After years of abuse, she was rescued and found refuge at the Visayan Forum's Center of Hope where she was able to rebuild her life through transformative and healing services. She graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
"YOU can help us save more Filipinos from human trafficking. Filipinos have dignity, we are not for sale." - Cecilia Flores-Oebanda, VF President (CNN The Fighters 2013)
The Philippines is a source country for men, women, and children subjected to sex trafficking and forced labor. 401,000 Filipinos are presently enslaved according to the report of Global Slavery Index of 2016.
For 25 years, Visayan Forum has been innovating solutions to end human trafficking and modern slavery in the Philippines. We prevent trafficking through community watch mechanisms, we protect victims and potential victims in transit areas and transform the lives of survivors through holistic shelter-based services, we influence policy and conduct solution-based research, and we mobilize the youth to reduce their vulnerability to trafficking.
HELP SAVE VICTIMS LIKE ROSE.
By giving any donation from $10 up to $50,000, you can help us save more Filipinos from human trafficking.
Your donation will allow us to:
- Rescue, shelter, educate and provide healing to women and children who are victims of human trafficking;
- Empower the youth through the iFIGHT Movement in partnership with schools and local governments
- Develop a network of community watch groups and provide livelihood opportunities for parents in vulnerable communities; and
- Conduct solution-based research and influence anti-trafficking policies and programs.
Join us in our fight. Together, we can save more lives.
