THE STORY:

COMMUNITY HEALING NETWORK INC wrote -

It is well past time…

...TO FREE OURSELVES AND OUR CHILDREN FROM THE LIES OF WHITE SUPERIORITY AND BLACK INFERIORITY: THE ROOT CAUSES OF THE DEVALUING OF BLACK LIVES.

We can march. We can sign petitions. We can weep. But until we overturn the lies of White superiority and Black inferiority, the world will continue to devalue the lives of Black people. We can debate. We can legislate. We can litigate. But we also have to focus on the root causes of our trials: the fact that for almost four centuries across the globe Black people have been seen as less than human.

Help us build the movement to Value Black LivesSM.  Community Healing Network (CHN) has been working since 2006 to build the global grassroots movement for emotional emancipation to help Black people overcome and overturn the lies: the root causes of countless injustices against people of African ancestry all around the world.

Your tax-deductible contribution will help CHN:

  1. respond to the growing number of emergency requests for our help from people in Black communities in crisis;
  2. train at least 405 local volunteers as Emotional Emancipation Circle(SM)leaders this year--toward our goal of training at least 2,019 leaders by the year 2019;
  3. bring together, during the U.S. Congressional Black Caucus September 2015 gathering, leaders of African ancestry from around the world for Valuing Black Lives: The Annual Global Emotional Emancipation Summit (SM).  To find out more about the Global Summit, visit www.communityhealingnet.org/2015globalsummit/

CHN's aim is to engage a critical mass of Black people in the movement for emotional emancipation by 2019, the 400th anniversary of the forced arrival of Africans at Jamestown colony in the United States, so that by the year 2020, we, as a people, will begin to see ourselves in a whole new light.We need your help to reach this goal.

We welcome donations of any amount!  But we want to keep us all focused on the year 2019, our target date for engaging a critical mass of Black people in the movement for emotional emancipation.  So, we’ll be using the numbers 2019 as the focal point for our fundraising initiatives –starting with a minimum donation request of $20.19

Four hundred years of dehumanization are enough.

It is well past time for us to reclaim our humanity and dignity as people of African ancestry, and take control of our destiny. Our ancestors are waiting.

Thank you.

I make my first donation in loving memory of Amelia Platts Boynton Robinson, matriarch of the Voting Rights Movement. She made her transition today, August 26, 2015 at age 104. May she rest in peace and power. 2 years ago
