I am proud of my sister Cindy Levine who sits on the Board of Directors for VisionSpring. Their mission is so simple, yet so elegant. Literally, every $3 raised buys a pair of eyeglasses for a needy person in a developing country. Pretty straight forward, eh?
Against the backdrop of the madness permeating current events, let us not succumb to the siren song of the restless mob. Instead, join us in changing the way people see the world, literally, one needy person at a time. Please find it in your heart to scrape up three bucks or whatever amount you can donate. It's a good thing to do.
Thank you and may the wonderment of the Holiday Season paint a smile in your heart.

VisionSpring brings eyeglasses to the working poor and school children in the developing world.
We need your help to reach 4,000 people by January 7.
For every $3 you donate, we will distribute a pair of sight-restoring eyeglasses.
That means for less than the cost of a pumpkin spice latte, you will change someone's life, allowing her to see better to work and learn.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization conducting charitable fundraising for VisionSpring programs and services. Your tax-deductible charitable donation will help bring vision care and eyeglasses to people in underserved markets where we work.
