BENEFITING: CAMPAIGN TO END THE DEATH PENALTY
There are two competing ballot initiatives on the ballot in November. One, "The Justice that Works Act" seeks to replace the death penalty with life without the possibility of parole. The other, "The Death Penalty Reform and Savings Act" seeks to speed up the appeal process, thereby speeding up executions.
How do the people that are held on death row feel about these initiatives? How do people that have the sentence of life without the possibility of parole (LWOP) feel about their sentences?
The death penalty and life without possibility sentences are bound to be in the media while we move toward the vote. Who is asking those most impacted by these sentences their opinion of the ballot initiatives?
Help us get the voices of the voiceless out to the public. Please help us fund this project that will find out these answers and publish them on our website at www.nodeathpenalty.org We need money for postage and envelopes, and printing for 748 people held on death row.
